Burnsville

Burnsville was a rural, primarily Irish, farming community which has grown from 2,700 people in 1960 to become the 10th largest city in the state with a population of over 60,220 people.  Burnsville is home to a regional mall comprised of 1.2 million sq feet, more than 3,300 acres of parks and wildlife refuge lands, a variety of recreational opportunities including a major ski resort, over 2,200 businesses, and many fine lodging and dining facilities.  The city is 15 minutes or less from the MN Zoo, Valleyfair Amusement Park, Mystic Lake Casino, the Renaissance Festival and the Mall of America. Rosemount

The City of Rosemount is 15 miles south of the Twin Cities metro area.  With land area of nearly 36 square miles, Rosemount residents enjoy the advantages of living in a community with both a small town and large metro city atmospheres. Unusual for a city of its size, Rosemount combines industry, agriculture, and agriculture research with a rapidly growing residential community providing an excellent environment in which to live and work. 

The western part of Rosemount exhibits a dynamic, expanding residential community with an older, yet vital commercial center at its heart.  Housing options include single family homes, townhomes, condos, and affordable housing.  Residential developments with hundreds of homes are currently under development, and this pattern of growth will continue for years to come.  For more information click on Rosemount

Farmington 

Located in western Dakota County roughly 30 minutes south of Mpls-St Paul International Airport and the Mall of America.  Farmington is a growing community that offers small town charm with unique suburban city offerings.

Farmington has a vibrant business community, which incorporates the contrast of new commercial development with a well established traditional downtown. In addition, the city's industrial and business parks offer opportunities for a wide array of uses and companies of all sizes.  Farmington's established development and design standards support the city's desire for quality development. 

With the presence of the Vermillion River, the existence of working farms and the city's extensive park and trail systems, the community has an abundance of natural resources.  These amenities in part account for the extensive residential growth of over 3,000 households added to the community within the last decade. Elko New Market

Elko New Market is a city in Scott County. A merger of bordering cities Elko and New Market happened in 2006.  Served by Interstate 35 and County Rd 2, the city contains one public school, Eagle View Elementary and is primarily known for Elko Speedway.  The New Market Hotel and store is on the National Register of Historic Places. New Market is named for the town near Cambridge, England though it was first named Jackson until its establishment in 1858. Elko was initially a railway village about the same time.  Both Elko and New Market were common town names of the era according to the MN Historical Society.  Elko is one mile from the freeway and a straight shot to downtown. With the rapid growth came a new water treatment facility.  Elko New Market has homes on and around the Boulder Pointe Golf Course.  Just 20 minutes from the airport.  Elko New Market is a growing community.  Just East of Cty 91 is Lakeville Schools and West of Cty 91 is New Prague schools.  Small town feel but close enough to the city.
